A common Auction Myth is that you have to be an "experienced" auction goer to buy and sell at Bailey Auctions. Everyone is welcome and the staff are great about helping first timers to understand how auctions work, how to make a bid, etc. Understanding the chant is what some people find the most intimidating.

Auctions are not meant to be intimidating!  Auctions are a FUN, ENTERTAINING and INTERACTIVE way to purchase top quality items, at the price YOU decide!

We have created a simple video outlining what to do once you are at Bailey Auctions, but first, YOU NEED TO COME!!

At Bailey Auctions, the process is simple:

  1. Register to bid - by presenting a valid driver's license or other suitable identification, the clerical staff at Bailey's will issue you a bidder card for your use throughout the auction.

  2. View / Inspect the Merchandise - take your time; write down the model numbers of the merchandise, and compare the retail value at local shops or online!  You'll be amazed at the savings you'll witness at Bailey Auctions!

  3. Ask Questions if you Have Any - Anything at all!  The staff at Bailey Auctions are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.  Always eager to help, and if one staff member doesn't have the answer for you, they will surely find someone that does!  It is important to know the auction terms and conditions, as well as if there are any time restrictions on removal of your purchases.

  4. Bid, Bid, Bid! - Holding your card in the air, indicates acceptance of the price that the auctioneer is asking for, and creates an agreement that you will pay for the items, if your bid is successful (the last one!).

  5. Count the Money You've Saved, and Bid On More!!
